One of main aims while developing Aquaterra was and still is to provide simple but effective tools. Nevertheless, we as software developers are fully aware that automatism is not always the best solution. Aquaterra allows users to maintain complete control over the whole design process.

Fully integrated in a your CAD system

Aquaterra takes the advantage of AutoCAD Civil 3D functionality. You can start from any existing AutoCAD drawing and resulting design can also be further processed in plain AutoCAD.

Aquaterra has been localized and is used in several countries (Austria, Croatia, Germany, Serbia and Slovenia) for projects ranging from channels in urban areas and flooding protection to many river works projects.

Aquaterra is global

Aquaterra 2012 is European product, made in Slovenia. Nevertheless, we realize that each country has its own specifics in the design technical standards. Aquaterra users are able to use any language version they like for free.

For example, Russian user of Aquaterra is entitled to any language version. It could be German, Slovenian or English, for instance.

Flexible modularity

Aquaterra consists of modules Layout, Axes, Longitudinal Sections and Cross-Sections. Aquaterra’s main advantage is its flexible modularity.

For example: A company employs 9 engineers, who collaborate (each engineer works on his/hers computer). Company buys one Aquaterra network license, consisting of:

• 1 license for module LAYOUT
• 3 licenses for modules AXIS
• 2 licenses for modules CROSS-SECTIONS
• 3 licenses for modules LONGITUDINAL SECTIONS.

Instead of buying 9 full licenses CGS plus offers a possibility to use Aquaterra effectively and also invest company’s money wisely. If there is a need for additional modules they can be bought separately later on.
